• ZAD is the Federal Portal for Food Trade, a subsidiary of Dubai Municipality, launched by the government of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The portal facilitates for food business operators registering their companies and products.

• The Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme (ECAS) is a product certification required by exporters/importers in order to place regulated product into the UAE market. The certificate is proof that the product has been approved by the Federal Government through the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA). It is one of the documents required for clearing shipments coming into the UAE. The certificate will be valid for one year and is subject to yearly renewal.

• Emirates Quality Mark is a conformity mark granted to the manufacturers who meet the quality requirements for the United Arab Emirates. EQM ensures that your product quality is as per the UAE standards and will emphasize that your products have high quality in the regional and international markets. The certificate will be valid for three years and audit might be required as per the product category.
• We will assist you in the following:

  • Providing the initial assessment of your documents by our expertise; to make sure you meet the required standards and regulations in order to save time in the registration process.
  • Assist you in preparing all the required documents for the audit and in giving solutions in order to close any Non-conformities post-audit.
  • We will be the channel between the client and the notified body by ESMA and handling all the process until you receive your final certificate.

• eCosma is an electronic system that allows importers and manufacturers of cosmetic products marketed in Saudi Arabia to notify about their cosmetic product to SFDA, to make sure that those product are compatible with Saudi standards according to their ingredient and claims .
• Certificate of Conformity (CoC) is a mandatory requirement for food shipments to KSA

• Saber is an electronic platform developed by SASO to be an exclusive electronic access for beneficiaries to operate the below main procedures:

  • Registering products (both locally manufactured and imported).
  • Applying for the required certificates for imported products to enter the Saudi market.
  • Defining the SASO-approved bodies and choosing one of them to issue the certificate.

• Your products must be registered with the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization (SASO) and conform to the technical regulations for the exported goods. To assure that your products are up to the mark, you must be able to produce the SASO certificate and the shipment SABER certificate issued by the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization through the SABER platform at the customs.
